Ryde Athletics Club History
Ryde Athletics Club was founded as Ryde Women's Amateur Athletic Club by Edna Godfrey in 1949. Over the years the club has seen many changes as it incorporated male athletes and integrated the senior and little athletics branches. In 1999, on the 50th anniversary of the club, a short history was published, "50 Years on and Still Running Strong". This publication has been digitised and can be read below.
