Weekly Opt-In Coaching

Starts September 2026 | Cost: $50 per athlete

This program is available exclusively to our 7–15-year-old athletes who are registered with Ryde Athletics Centre. The Weekly Opt-In program allows athletes to progress their skills across a range of disciplines, with a focus on variety and quality in a fun, group environment. It's perfect for athletes new to Little A's, or those who enjoy trying a mix of events and training sessions throughout the week.

Coaching sessions are offered across all Little Athletics events, from beginner skills sessions through to more technical, event-specific coaching. The one-off $50 fee gives you access to book into sessions offered through our weekly coaching program. Once registered, you'll receive an email to help you set up your profile and access the upcoming week's sessions. Sessions for the following week go live each Sunday and are booked on a first come, first served basis.

• Coaching sessions are available to athletes in 7s-15s age groups.  (Sorry no 6s or tots)
• Training sessions are run throughout the week (Monday – Thursday) afternoons at Dunbar Park over two blocks during the season.
• Session times vary depending on individual coaches, with multiple sessions run each afternoon.
• Athletes opting in for coaching will have a range of sessions to choose from, and must use the weekly online sign-up roster to help manage numbers per session.
• Block 1: Commences on Monday 14th September 2026, running over a 10-week period (with a short hiatus during school holidays), and concludes the week of the Little A’s Zone Championships in December 2026. 
• Block 2: Commences early 2027 and concludes the week prior to the State Championships in March 2027.
