Key changes to the 2025 ROC include:
- Revised false start and starting block rules for athletes in the 14s and older age groups at Regional and State Championships only. There are no changes for younger age groups.
- Updated number of field event attempts for athletes in pathway events (Zone, Region, and State).
- Introduction of a rule allowing referees to consider video evidence when handling protests.
