Betty Moore Trophy
for Best Club Athlete
In the 1973/74 season, Betty Moore sought to recognise athletes who contributed to the club beyond their performances. This included those who gave their time and effort through assisting at training sessions, helping at social functions and carnivals, officiating when required, and generally supporting the club in a positive and helpful way.
To acknowledge these contributions, she introduced the Best Club Athlete Trophy, awarded annually to an athlete demonstrating outstanding service to the club. The inaugural recipient was Dianne Bergstrom in the 1973/74 season.
