Jean Hill Memorial Trophy
for Most Outstanding Walker
Jean Hill, the mother of Lynette and Colleen, made a significant contribution to the club over many years. She served as Social Secretary (1958–60), Secretary (1959), President (1960, 1964–67), Vice-President (1968), and Treasurer (1961–63), and was also a member of the Walkers Club.
Following her passing in 1973, her husband Jim Hill, a club coach, donated a trophy in her memory to encourage race walking within the club.
The first recipient of this trophy was Jeannette Tulley in the 1974/75 season.
